My DC
years actually encompass two periods of time.
From January to August, 1990, I worked at the National Republican
Congressional Committee on Claremont McKenna's "semester in
Washington" program.
After graduation and the Coro Fellowship, I moved to DC for a four-year
stretch from 1993 to 1997. DC was a wonderful experience for me, but
4 years is a long time on Capitol Hill, and I had no desire to spend the
rest of my life there. I left just before the Monica Lewinsky
scandal engulfed the Capitol -- just in time!
I still have many friends from these years, some still in DC and some
spread around the country. Hopefully some of them will see these
great shots, and stay in touch!
I have not repeated the three photos from the main
photos page, but be sure not to miss them too. As always, click
on the small picture to see the full-size copy.
